Every once in a while a song comes along that drives me completely mental. I play it over and over again, like a rat in a B. F. Skinner box. Something about the song is linked directly to my brain’s pleasure center.

The Little One’s “Lovers Who Uncover†is one of those songs. Insanely catchy, everything about this song is fantastic; multiple irresistible hooks grab you by the ears and won’t let go while subtle touches bury the hooks even deeper. At 1:32 into the song there’s a breakdown complete with handclaps and chants that’s so sugary it seems unfair. I’m pretty sure the other songs on the Sing Song EP are damn good too, I just can’t get “Lovers Who Uncover†out of my head long enough to listen! BTW, did you know B.F. Skinner’s first name was Burrhus?
What are your current obsessions?

I can understand your current obsession w/ The Little One’s. They’ve got a sound that has the power to hypnotize…like a musical Svengali. If you should ever get past “Lovers Who Uncover”, you will find that the other songs are just as awesome. In fact. “Cha Cha Cha” might be even more infectious than “Lovers…”. Thanks a bunch for posting a few of their tunes and for helping me make it through the weekdays with your afternoon show!
currently, I am a son volt obessed person.
My musical obsession right now is the Black Keys — Chulahoma is AMAZING!
