While some KEXP staff was here on Sunday afternoon doing the pledge drive, some of us were at Chop Suey for the First Annual Kids Dance Party! As a DJ and someone who worked in a nightclub for 14 years, it was one of the most surreal experiences ever. I had high expectations for the day and it exceeded all of them in terms of how fun it was. We had a packed dance floor full of little kids and their parents having a great time with great big giant smiles on their faces.
