“The third album from this North Dakota-raised, LA-based singer-songwriter is a charming outing of gentle indie-folk with roots stretching back to various folk and pop styles of the early 20th century. Brosseau has a high, elastic voice topped off with a gorgeous, ghostly falsetto that recalls Jeff Buckley, minus Buckley’s occasional histrionic excesses.
