KEXP Suggests – Beck

Wildly eclectic with dark lyrics reflecting these uneasy times, the latest from this musical chameleon is somewhat similar to last year’s fine Guero album, but with an even stronger hip hop bent and more sonic experimentation. Produced by longtime Radiohead producer Nigel Godrich (who also produced Beck’s Sea Change and Mutations albums), the album is loaded with playfully inventive soundscapes blending elements of hip hop, electronic music, psychedelia, folk, prog-rock and lots more.” – Don Yates

The Information is out today. Check out this awesome video of puppets getting down to ‘Nausea’! Stream three songs from the new record at Beck’s MySpace page.
