On the heels of the historic partnership with Radio New York (WNYE 91.5FM) to jointly broadcast KEXP’s “Morning Show with John Richards” on KEXP 90.3FM in Seattle and WNYE 91.5FM in New York, KEXP is heading back to the big apple! The week of October 30 through November 3, we’ll broadcast a week of daily programming live from Gigantic Studios (59 Franklin Street, between Broadway & Lafayette in Manhattan) as part of the CMJ Annual Music Marathon in New York City. This will be the fourth year KEXP has been broadcasting live from CMJ.
We’ll host over 20 bands throughout the week. These broadcasts will include live performances, a studio audience, and are open to the public. The broadcasts will be daily from 6AM-2PM PST/9AM-5PM EST, and some of the performances will be offered as podcasts. Check out the updated line-up of in-studio performances:

KEXP will host a listener party at The Sin-e Bar (150 Attorney Street at Stanton) on Friday, Nov. 3 from 6-8pm. This party is free, and open to the public. Immediately following the party at Sin-e is FRICTION, a monthly showcase of up-and-coming bands that KEXP is sponsoring. The line-up features Dirty on Purpose, Magneta Lane, Pela, The Diableros, The Diggs, A Sunny Day In Glasgow and The Shackeltons.
