On Monday The Black Angels performed live at KEXP. It’s always great to have them in! After seeing them live a couple times, I’m always surprised how well their sound comes across on the radio. It feels like you should be there in a low lit club, absorbing the energy in person. Maybe that’s the beauty of it. Once you’ve seen a band live you are able to picture the experience in your mind when you hear the song on the radio. The intensity of a performance can stick with you in a really cool way. That’s what happens for me when I hear The Black Angels. Listen to the in-studio performance now at our 14 day Streaming Archive.
