This Music that Matters #29 podcast features 12 of my favorite up-and-coming (mostly unsigned) bands. You’ll hear many exclusive and unreleased tracks.

My all-time favorite French band, Tahiti 80, release their third album on November 14th and are on tour in the US this month.

Some highlights:

  • A great Chicago band, Moxie Motive, recorded their 1st studio track just in time for this podcast.
  • Preview a track from The Measures’ upcoming debut album and be mesmerized in 5 minutes or less. Beautiful stuff!
  • London-based band Vib Gyor has a new track “The Secret” out December 4th.
  • Klaxons, latest buzz band out of England’s new rave scene, will wind you up and make you dance in circles.
  • Please drop me an email: and let me know what bands you like. You can find out more info about each band on MySpace easily.

    Here’s the song list. Enjoy!!

    1. The Hosts – Wake Up (self-released)
    2. Brian Jacket Letdown – Pirates (from the album Hooves on GenePool Records)
    3. Moxie Motive – Tourist (exclusive, self-released, 1st studio single recorded just for this podcast)
