The Last Temptation of…, their third album, combines elements of garage rock, lounge music, Western twang, and space rock, reminding you at various times of Link Wray, The Doors, Stereolab, Spiritualized and many others. If you can imagine the late Mary Hansen backed by Ray Manzarek, you’re starting to get the picture.
