  • For everyone who’d starving for the Arcade Fire, here’s an awesome video of the Arcade Fire performing ‘Intervention’ from their new record Neon Bible, which is due out March 6.
  • The Apples in Stereo have a new record coming out next Tuesday (Feb 6) called New Magnetic Warning, and Stereogum posted a feature on the video for ‘Same Old Drag.’
  • YouTube’s position on royalty negotiations appears to be ruffling in the indie world.
  • Nick Drake has a new record coming out in the spring. Yes, Nick Drake… You’ll also be able to get a glimpse of the man himself at SXSW this year.
  • The Noise Pop lineup was announced last week and it’s looking awesome.
  • John Vanderslice is set to tour with support from Damien Jurado, the Submarines, and Black Fiction along the way. Catch him in Seattle at the Triple Door on April 7. *Interesting fact: Every one of John Vanderslice’s records is produced from analog tape and he owns the last all-analog recording studio in the Bay Area of San Francisco.
  • A few interesting things from Brookyln Vegan today: Tapes ‘n Tapes announce 2007 tour dates; Sharon Jones added a second night at Maxwell’s this weekend; and the Knitting Factory in NYC gets a new sound system.
