  • From Pitchfork: The Good, the Bad, and the Queen announce a handful of dates, José González schedules U.S. shows, and the Killers will “visit pretty much any town where people have names” on their North American tour.
  • From Tiny Mix Tapes: New York band Battles are getting ready to release their debut album and then hit the road, The Thermals are getting ready to tour with The Big Sleep and The Hold Steady next month, and William Elliott Whitmore will tour.
  • From Aversion… Franz Ferdinand are going for a different sound on their next record, and the Stooges unveil their comeback album, The Weirdness. The lineup features original band members with Mike Watt on bass!
  • In an interview this week, Bloc Party frontman Kele Okerke called out Jack White for not speaking out on political matters.
