Today in Music: the Arcade Fire, the Knife, Grizzly Bear, Olivia Tremor Control, Kings of Leon, Broken Social Scene

Here’s an AWESOME video of the Arcade Fire performing ‘Wake Up’ during their show at St. John’s Church in London on 1/29, courtesy of Stereogum. The Arcade Fire are known to play post-show sets late into the night, and it appears singer Win Butler ran into a little trouble with security last night after their Porchester Hall gig.

  • Earlier this week, the Knife took home six Swedish Grammy’s including Album of the Year. The mysterious duo didn’t attend, but you can watch their acceptance video, directed by Andreas Nilsson.
  • A couple nice pieces from Pitchfork… Grizzly Bear kick off their North American Tour, and Dean & Brita announce a tour and share an MP3 from their forthcoming record Back Numbers:
  • Grizzly Bear – Knife (Girl Talk Remix) (MP3)
    Dean & Britta – Singer Sing (MP3)

  • If you like Olivia Tremor Control, you need to check out these rarities at Alpharuin.
  • Cool post about Spiritualized, featuring the Abbey Road EP and some videos.
  • Kings of Leon are ready to release their third album in April. Listen to songs from the new record, Because of the Times at their MySpace page.
  • Low unveils their new album.
  • Broken Social Scene score an independent film.
