The 2007 Wall Of Sound Festival, presented by Spune Productions, will take place on Saturday, September 22, again in Fort Worth, Texas. Playing 3 stages outdoors at a LaGrave Field, Fort Worth’s historic ballpark, are 40 bands including Explosions in the Sky, Ghostland Observatory, Spectrum (Sonic Boom/Spaceman 3), OM, Pinback, Bobby Bare Jr, Lymbyc Systym, Peter and the Wolf, and Micah P. Hinson. LaGrave Field, named one of the Top 10 Independent Ballparks in the nation by Baseball America, is located just north of downtown Fort Worth.
According to the festival’s website, “Wall Of Sound Festival is a music and arts gathering dedicated to the expression of independence and creative quality that can be found in today’s mainstream pop culture. Whether it is noise-pop, indie-country, experimental/advent-garde, punk, electro-pop, neu-wave, or the next genre the New York scenester decides to coin, it is all celebrated here! Wall Of Sound Festival is best described as a pop-art experience and cultural affair!”
