Engine Studios, Chicagophoto by Allie Pasquier
We’re excited to be broadcasting in Chicago next week. Next Wednesday through Friday, October 3-5, KEXP will broadcast from Engine Studios in the Bucktown neighborhood and share some great bands with our Chicago listeners who won our city-to-city pledge challenge for the second year in a row. Last year we featured performances from local artists like John Langford, Devon Davis, The M’s, Walter Meego, Catfish Haven, Scotland Yard Gospel Choir, The Changes, Sally Timms, Eleventh Dream Day, and Moxie Motive. This year, we’ve got another great lineup, again with a heavy emphasis on Chicago bands (though a few of our other friends will stop by). Here’s the on-air lineup (PST):

Also, you can join KEXP DJs and staff at Equalizer, our monthly KEXP Sponsored Showcase at Darkroom, on Thursday night (10/4) with Scotland Yard Gospel Choir, Airiel, Mason Proper. Doors are at 8pm for this free 21+ show.
