This week, we’re broadcasting from the Gibson Showroom in New York City for our annual CMJ broadcast. We have a killer line-up this year, including Pela, The Hold Steady, Wild Sweet Orange, The Blakes, Foals, Band of Horses and a whole lot more. We’ll feature four bands a day for five days and maybe we’ll surprise you with some special guests.

If you’re in the NYC area, drop by our listener party at HiFi (169 Avenue A, between 10th and 11th Streets) on Wednesday, October 17, with Robbers on High Street, The Little Ones, Eagle Seagull, The Airbourne Toxic Event, and more. KEXP DJ’s and staff will be there from 6PM on (with drink specials from 6-8PM). DJ’s John Richards, Cheryl Waters and Kevin Cole will be curating “El-DJ”, the jukebox of over 3100 albums, from 6-9 pm. This event is free and open to the public. 21+ over only (must have valid ID).
