Friday Oct 19th: Portland: Climber (Electronic/Rock) @ Berbati’s $8 & 9:30pm & 21+
Come join electronic rockers Climber as they release their debut album, after a year long hiatus which was broken earlier this summer. The band played at MusicfestNW last month, teasing fans with new songs even newer than the album being released tonight.

Saturday Oct 20th: Seattle: Team Gina (Parody/Rap) @ KTUB $5 & 7:30pm & ALL AGES
If you’ve never seen Team Gina, prepare to laugh your ass off. The girlfriend duo rap humorously about the hardships of being a lesbian, boobs, their own lives, and seemingly everything in between, all while dancing in synchronization which puts pop stars to shame. Besides being funny, these girls definitely do boast quite a talent for keeping a beat. Tonight’s show at KTUB is also a benefit for the Gay Straight Alliance, definitely a worthy cause in this diverse and supportive area. Openers are local bands Ms. Led, Tennis Pro, and Ghosts & Liars. The latter is a folk indie band, making not only the crowd be diverse, but the music as well!

Tuesday Oct 23rd: Seattle: Fleet Foxes (Rock/Folk) @ Nectar Lounge $7 & 8pm & 21+
Fleet Foxes charmed nearly everyone they came into contact with at this year’s Bumbershoot and beyond, it seems. Playing a “tour” of smaller venues in the area, they’ll hit this Fremont nightclub, which has been redesigned with amazing floor space, making any spot you stand a good one. Definitely a good thing, as local headliners Kay Kay & His Weathered Underground will most likely be overflowing on the stage. Local art collective Seattle Poetry Slam will be featuring live painters and poetry throughout the night. I don’t think they show could be filled with any more local entertainment, as it’s brimming to the top!
