Sub Pop Turns Twentysomethingish!

SP20 may sound like some sort of soft drink additive, but no, it’s the Sub Pop two-day festival at Marymoor Park! The label has been around for twenty years (give or take two to three) and the July 12 & 13 musicfest is here to mark the occasion. The bill is a good one -- something old, something new, something borrowed, something reunited for the occasion -- dang, they’ve got it covered.

Tickets go on sale April 26 at Sub Pop’s website and Ticketmaster ($30 for one day, $50 for both), and here’s who’ll be rocking: Green River, Red Red Meat, The Fluid (having flashbacks yet?), Mudhoney, Beachwood Sparks, Seaweed, Fleet Foxes, Flight of the Conchords, Foals, Grand Archives, The Helio Sequence, Iron & Wine, Kinski, Low, No Age, Wolf Parade, Pissed Jeans, and the Ruby Suns.

Seattleites have a local festival bounty ahead -- Sasquatch, Bumbershoot, the Capitol Hill Block Party, Noise For the Needy -- but who’s got Green River? That’s right -- only SP20! (Y’know... barring a reunion tour and subsequent fruitful recording sessions, of course.)

Mudhoney! Are you ready for some of THIS action, Maymoor Park?
