Pitchfork Music Festival Preview

Has it been a year already since the last Pitchfork festival? The all-star purveyor of fine independent music recommendations, Pitchforkmedia, has teamed up with KEXP this weekend for their 3rd Annual Pitchfork Music Festival in Chicago’s beautiful Union Park this weekend, July 17-19. Multiple stages, tons of new and established artists, you get the drift. Like website, the lineup sways heavily towards the “indie rock” side, but there are plenty of other genres represented here too. This festival reminds me of our very own Bumbershoot Music Festival. A couple of these great bands just made appearances at SP20 this past weekend so we expect great things in Chicago too. KEXP will be broadcasting live from the event, so Chicago listeners make sure to stop by and say “hello”.

Tickets are still available for Friday, but the rest of the weekend is already Sold Out!
