Out This Week 9/2

Still playing hookey? Why not make a long weekend even longer? It’s not like anyone else is going to work or school this week anyway. You might as well write it off and do a little record shopping instead. And if it’s records you’re looking for, this week you’re in luck as Radiohead has released five limited edition import vinyl reissues. Also worth exploring are the latest from Giant Sand, Birdmonster, and Morning Show favorite Dan le Sac vs. Scroobius Pip. Write yourself a note from Largehearted Boy’s list and shop like it’s still Saturday:

Apollo Sunshine – Singing to the Earth (To Thank Her for You) (MP3)
from Shall Noise Upon on Headless Heroes

Matt Bauer – Don’t Let Me Out (MP3)
from The Island Moved In The Storm on La Société Expéditionnaire

Birdmonster – Born to Be Your Man (MP3)
from From the Mountain to the Sea on Fader

The Chemical Brothers – album promo
from Brotherhood on Virgin

Chris Cotton – Going Home (MP3)
from The Big Sea on Little Fish Large Pond Publishing

Giant Sand – Increments of Love (MP3)
from ProVISIONS on Yep Roc

Sonya Kitchell – For Every Drop (MP3)
from This Storm on Decca

Rainbow Arabia – Let Them Dance (MP3)
from The Basta EP on Manimal Vinyl

Dan le Sac vs Scroobius Pip – Look For The Woman (MP3)
from Angles on Strange Famous

bonus: Thou Shalt Always Kill (MP3)

Brian Wilson – AP interview
talking about That Lucky Old Sun on EMI

Who is Chris Cotton? “Going Home” mp3 is the best thing on there…totally different style. Where can I get the album?
