All of us here at KEXP hope that you’ll make your voice heard in the upcoming presidential election. This Saturday is the last day to register to vote, so if you haven’t yet, hop to it!
First, though, we want to encourage you to make your voice heard in a different kind of activity. Our Fall Membership Drive starts this Friday at 6pm, and we need your help to reach our goals! When you make a gift of support to KEXP you are casting a vote for the music that enriches your life and unites people around the globe.
So what do your dollars do? Well, it’s our listeners who give KEXP the freedom and power to program great music (over 98% of our programming is created and produced in the KEXP studios -- there’s no pre-programmed playlists here), welcome over 400 artists for in-studio performances, and distribute hundreds of songs for free to subscribers through our podcasts. When we say KEXP is listener-powered, we aren’t kidding.
