KEXP Top Ten Lists: The Daytime DJs

‘Tis the season to be compiling lists, and pretty much every electronic and print medium is offering theirs up for your consideration. We at KEXP are always eager to share our favorites, but this year the KEXP staff, volunteers, interns all complained that it was harder than ever to come up with a list of ten — but not because there weren’t enough excellent releases in 2008. On the contrary, there were so many really good albums and very few off-the-charts outliers that it was nearly impossible for most people to narrow down to just ten. Last year, The National, Radiohead, and Band of Horses were favorites of all three daytime DJs, but this year, while there are definitely some similarities, no one album appears on all three lists. Check out the diversity here:
