Last month, Montreal band The Dears stopped by KEXP to perform an acoustic set of songs — or as frontman Murray Lightburn put it, a “campfire session.” Typically, it’s The Dears’ lush and complex production that wows fans, as on their 2008 album, Missiles, but in this stripped down exclusive performance, the songs are allowed to reveal their innate strength.
