KEXP Video of the Week: Fruit Bats

The intimate setting of Opus Music Ventures studio in Berkeley made each of the dozen live sessions performed during KEXP’s broadcast from the Bay Area special, but the fact that Fruit Bats, who haven’t put out an album in four years, since their excellent Sub Pop release Spelled In Bones, played three brand new songs, it was one of the highlights of all three days. Fortunately for you, we had video cameras set up to capture the whole thing. This week, we present three songs from the performance and you can download a fourth video, for “Blessed Breeze,” by subscribing to KEXP’s Video of the Week podcast series.
