Mo’Glo is here! And this Friday, Mo’Glo will be hosting a live party in Brooklyn, at Rose Live Music in Williamsburg.
What is Mo’Glo? It’s hottest radio program in NYC, featuring modern global beats from around the world. It’s the music that kids are making outside the studios, mixing what their parents listen to with what’s happening on the streets. The baile funk from Rio de Janeiro’s favelas or the Afro-Peruvian electronica of Novalima or the Sri Lankan–British rapper M.I.A.’s off-kilter dancehall.”
Mo’Glo features an incredibly talented roster of DJ’s including KEXP’s Darek Mazzone, Chilly and Kid Hops, along with DJ Rhythma, DJ Carmen Rizzo, Emch of Subatomic Sound System, Tom Pryor, DJ Santo, DJ Benny Beats, Cheb i Sabbah, DJ Sabo, Joro Boro, Nohmada, DJ DRM and Fort Knox Five ! The show airs every midnight to 1 a.m. on 91.5 FM Radio New York.
Mo’Glo’s coming out party will be a do-not-miss chance to catch some of these very talented DJ’s spinning live at one of Brooklyn’s best venues for music, food and wine! On the one’s and two’s that night will be KEXP’s Darek Mazzone, DJ Rhythma, Emch of Subatomic Sound System, DJ Benny Beats. Special guests include, live on percussion Dave Sharma of Sub Swara and Daddy Lion Chandell & Rhiannon of Subatomic Sound System.
If you happen to be in the neighborhood, drop by for a set or two or more. Tell your friends! KEXP and Mo’Glo would love to have you show your support by coming out too!
