Usually, Aaron Aites’ project Iran performs with about six people on stage, including TV on the Radio’s Kyp Malone, but for this session recorded during KEXP’s broadcast from Austin during SXSW, he stripped it down as far as he could. With just vocals and guitar (by Jeff Kish), Iran performed two songs from the new album, Dissolver, after KEXP’s John Richards talked to Aaron about his new documentary, Until The Light Takes Us, about Norwegian black metal:
