Thanks to Born Anchors, Police Teeth, Wild Orchid Children, Bacchus, and Thee Sgt. Major III for rockin’ The Sunset last Saturday in support of Hanford Challenge! Make sure to check out their websites for upcoming show information.

This week we’re back in the KEXP studio with Man Plus and Daniel G. Harmann and the Trouble Starts!

Man Plus (6PM) is an infectious power-pop outfit led by brother-sister duo Jared and Ellen Mills. Their angst-ridden lyrics are cloaked in sunny, clever melodies and delivered with a wry wink. Still riding high from 2008′s Hungarian Suicide Songbook, Man Plus will be debuting all new material live on Audioasis.

Daniel G. Harmann (8PM) is a folksy troubadour with a delightfully laconic voice and a penchant for heartbreaking melodies. With the Trouble Starts, he’s still a heartbreaker but with a full-bodied, sweeping consonance underlining his bittersweet poetry. Their new EP Our Arms will be released May 12th.
