Thanks to James Apollo and The Lonely Forest for stopping by Audioasis last week! Catch James Apollo at The Living Room in New York on May 29th and The Lonely Forest at the EMP Skychurch for Folklife on May 24th! Man Plus and Daniel G. Harmaan & the Trouble Starts played Audioasis the week before last, and you can catch Daniel G. Harmaan at Mars Bar on June 13th. Man Plus are playing our Audioasis Live Broadcast & Benefit Show on June 6th. More info on that show here.

Tune in to hear Loving Thunder and special guests The Melvins on Audioasis this Saturday!

Loving Thunder (6PM) are the bass and drum duo of Colin Roper (formerly of Cobra High) and Sterling Callier. The band plays a mighty set of progressive metal and pounding drums. Roper’s high-pitched vocals were reminiscent of Ozzy, but also dampened as if the deranged Black Sabbath chief was singing from under water.

Tune in during the 8 o’clock hour for a special DJ set from the Melvins! Just before their second night with Green River at The Showbox, Buzz, Dale, Jared, Coady will play some of their favorite songs for Hannah and KEXP listeners. You don’t want to miss it!
