French pop band Phoenix just released their fourth album, Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix, arguably their best, yesterday, and just a couple of weeks ago they stopped by The Morning Show with John Richards to perform a few songs from it. Vocalist Thomas Mars and guitarist Christian Mazzalai sat down down to play their first two singles from Wolfgang, “1901” and “Lisztomania,” plus a version of Air’s “Playground Love,” which Mars originally sang on.

Hear, hear. Great session all around! Any chance “Playground” will become a Song of the Day? Please?
