Out This Week 9/15

Visqueen

Seattle represent! This week’s roundup is filled with some hot new releases from the Northwest. Visqueen‘s latest, Message from Garcia, which was available digitally last week, is now ready for purchase for those of you out there still buying physical CD’s. Grand Archives and Black Whales, who are both in studio live on KEXP today, have new albums out also, as do The Maldives and Grand Hallway. Plus, Sunny Day Real Estate, one of the Seattle bands to hit the big time, are rereleasing their first two albums, Diary and LP2, on Sub Pop.

But the Northwest isn’t alone in producing some great albums released this week: be sure to pick up the latest from The Scotland Yard Gospel Choir, The Dodos, Mason Jennings, Or, The Whale, and former Northwesters Stars of Track and Field . And don’t forget ScarJo with Pete Yorn and Gordon Gano‘s new album, which we reviewed recently. Check out the whole list, courtesy of Largehearted Boy here.
