Shake the Shack Rockabilly Ball photos from the first night!

photos by William Brody

The 22nd annual Shake the Shack Rockabilly Ball ripped through Ballard last night on the first of three nights at the Tractor Tavern. Roy Kay Combo, Jukehouse Hounds, Billy Dwayne and the Creepers, plus the Shake The Shack Rock’n Roll Party with Vince Mira, Mark Pickerel, Christy McWilson, Billy Joe of the Dusty 45s and others, all performed blazing sets for all the Shack fans and rockabillies in the house -- and some more blazing (literally) than others!

A few tickets are still available for tonight’s lineup of The Star Devils, Rockin’ Lloyd Tripp and the Zipguns, Captain Jeffrey and the Chumbuckets, and Slim Sandy, and for Saturday’s finale with Starkweather Boys, Rocky Velvet, Hillbilly Casino, and The Stillcreek Brothers.

And don’t forget the Shake the Shack Hot Rod Car Show at the Shanty Tavern, located at 9002 Lake City Way NE in Seattle, on Saturday, September 26 from 10AM to 5PM.

Still thinking about staying home tonight to wash your hair? These photos from William Brody should light a fire!
