Tomorrow night at Neumo’s is your chance to relive the madness beset on Seattle by ...And You Will Know Us By the Trail of Dead the last time they were in town back in March. If you missed out, on then it’s high time to see them play, because the Austin sextet puts on an invigorating live show. What they call “The Pretty Falling Leaves Tour” is their second time in town to promote their latest album, The Century of Self, released last February on their very own Richter Scale Records.
Trail of Dead has been through a lot of changes since their debut release over a decade ago. They have experimented, matured, and instead of riding the coattails of the much-deserved success of Source Tags and Codes, have been producing consistently solid and ever-evolving rock music. Conrad Keely and Jason Reece front Trail of Dead’s prog-rock compositions with high-energy vocals and guitar riffs. Backed up by bandmates Kevin Allen, Aaron Ford, Clay Morris, and Jay Phillips, the output is an epic-sounding rock show.
United Kingdom’s Future of the Left, and Seattle’s Born Anchors will be opening. Neumo’s doors open at 8pm, and it costs $15.
