Seattle-based All-Ages Movement Project (AMP) has been chosen as a contender for a $50,000 prize in the Refresh Everything campaign.
All-Ages Movement Project (AMP) is a national non-profit network of all-ages venues and youth music organizations. Spanning hip-hop to punk, teen centers to youth run record labels to DIY collectives, they’re working to make community music organizations stronger and more widespread. AMP believes that like all communities, music communities have great the potential to create change and are exceptional at reaching young people, because they are essentially created by young people.
A $50,000 prize would allow AMP to provide training and networking opportunities to 1200 organizers, increase access to all-ages music in underserved areas and much more.
