Austin or Australia? First The Middle East, and now The Crayon Fields, our second Aussie band of the day. But really it feels more like sunny California, what with the Best Coast’s raw So-Cal sound and now the jangly pop of The Crayon Fields.
On vocals and twelve-strings guitar Greff O’ Connor fronts a group of skilled musicians: bassist Brett Hudson, drummer Neil Erenstrom, and keyboardist Chris Hung. Their recent release, All The Pleasures in the World, appeared in part on several of our podcasts, including a Song of the Day. And no doubt, you’ll be hearing this swooningly beautiful performance again!
