The second half of February brought the usual share of diverse bands and artists performing in-studio at KEXP. Whether you’re into the electronics wizardry from Daedelus, Nosaj Thing and Four Tet, the free spirited indie rock from Free Energy, Kids and Animals, Motopony, and Pepper Rabbit, rock with a bit harder edge with glam rockers The Cute Lepers and metal punkers Kandi Coded, psychedelic drone bliss from Moon Duo, local hip hop from Q Dot, Scandinavian pop from El Perro Del Mar, or acoustic folk rock from Port O’Brien, there is plenty to enjoy on our Live Performances page... and it doesn’t hurt that they all make fascinating subjects for our in-studio photographers.
