What better choice on 4/20 than to feature the stoner rock jams of JEFF the Brotherhood? The Nashville duo of Jake and Jamin Orrall -- neither named Jeff but definitely brothers -- stand apart from other bluesy rock pairings, like The Black Keys, The White Stripes, or even Quasi, by throwing handfuls of sludge and punchy punk riffs into the mix. Not to be stopped by their early slot to perform live at the Gibson Showroom in Austin during KEXP’s SXSW broadcast, the Brotherhood threw down with enough energy to spare and even smoked the place out... with a smoke machine, that is!
