Brooklyn based indie rock band The National is back with a fifth album, High Violet, to be released this month and featuring 11 tracks of the updated post punk revival sound they’ve built upon since their beginning. Formed in 1999 and gaining recognition with singles “Fake Empire” and “Apartment Story”, the five piece has began their tour in support for their upcoming record, which many are calling their best yet!
