
This Friday, May 21st, KEXP celebrates West Seattle’s victory in our Hood to Hood Challenge with a live broadcast all day, activities and music for the kids at Cupcake Royale, artist showcases and KEXP DJs spinning in the evening, a gallery of KEXP in-studio photography, free passage on the King County Water Taxi, discounts at local businesses throughout the neighborhood and a food drive for the West Seattle Food Bank.
Our live broadcast at Easy Street Records runs from 6am to 6pm with live DJ sets from John Richards, Cheryl Waters and Kevin Cole:
