New York City is ready to receive once again the festival that showcases musicians from different Spanish-speaking countries, from Argentina to Mexico, and Spain. The best of Latin pop, rock, hip-hop, electronic and raggaeton travels all the way to the big city to celebrate the 11th edition of the Latin American Music Conference, gathering communities from around the world trough artists that can turn any regional sound into an exotic ambiance.
For five days, the festival that takes place in different venues and typical spots around the city, will also be joined by musical leaders from the industry to express in different panels their thoughts on music-making, and also to perform for a large audience; around 35 thousand music lovers attend every year to enjoy the favorites from Latin America.
Starting on July 6th to the 10th, the beats of Latin music will invade New York City, with performances by the amazing, and Chile’s hip-hop queen, Ana Tijoux, who will also be in the opening event; from Mexico, Nortec Collective’s Bostich and Fussible, Mexican Institute of Sound, Jumbo, San Pascualito Rey and Maldita Vecindad; coming from Argentina, Fidel Nadal with the best of reggae sound; and all the way from Barcelona, the experimental sound of El Guincho, The Pink Tones and indie pop’s La Bien Querida. The show will also feature performances from American artists, gathering the best grooves from Ozomatli, Manu Chao, Kinky,Chico Mann, Pacha Massive and ska-rockers, King Chango.
