
- Robin Pecknold from Fleet Foxes has released a 14 minutes black and white documentary of his current tour as the opening act for Joanna Newsom.The video is available for viewing on the Fleet Foxes web site.
- Phil Selway, famous as the drummer for Radiohead, has a solo album on the way titled Familial. The sound is a bit more folksy and soft than Radiohead’s work. Selway did an interview with Pitchfork recently about the album.
- Kanye West, Internet meem and sometimes rapper, dropped by the Facebook Headquarters and debuted some new songs a capella on top of a table. This is not made up. We have video proof.
- Gwenyth Paltrow seems to be trying to follow suit with her musical husband Chris Martin from Coldplay as she releases a song called “Country Song” for her upcoming film with the same name. To hear the track, head over to Stereogum. You’ve been warned.

- Surfer Blood and The Drums have just announced a North American tour. The two indie rock groups will be stopping in Seattle October 4 at Neumos. Check out the full list of dates here.
