Last Friday, it was the perfect evening for the second in the Concerts at the Mural series presented by KEXP and Seattle Center. The heat of the day let off for a nice summer breeze as an energetic, dance-friendly lineup took the stage at the Mural Amphitheater. State of the Artist kicked it all off with their beats, rhymes and summertime vibes. Noddy‘s electric sound turned the outdoor space into a club, with kids running across the lawn as lead singer Jared Mills jumped down from the stage and literally brought the dance to the crowd. Brite Futures closed the night in a mad frenzy. The band, formerly Natalie Portman’s Shaved Head, had the crowd chanting, cheering, waving their fists, and nearly piling up on stage -- and stage antics aside, Brite Futures know how to keep a crowd going!
