If you’re a fan of harmonies and handclaps and some of the catchiest music you’re likely to hear, check out The Head and the Heart, who tap into the sweetest wells of rustic American music and classic rock. The six band members recently stopped by Audioasis with host Hannah Levin and performed an instantly lovable set of songs from their new album. Just take one listen to “Lost in My Mind” and the other songs below, and tell me you’re not smitten! As a bonus, The Head and the Heart performed an as yet unrecorded song live at the No Depression Festival last weekend as they busked between sets.
And don’t forget to check them out for yourself tonight when KEXP and Seattle Center present Concerts at the Mural starting at 6PM tonight, with Yuni in Taxco and
Mt. St. Helens Vietnam Band.
