There’s not much on this week’s very short list of new releases that will make you rethink your Top 10 list of 2010, unless you happen to be a fan of Ryan Adams. The ultra-prolific songwriter decided not to wait for the new year before releasing a new 2-disc set of rockers with his band The Cardinals. The songs aren’t entirely new -- they come from 2007′s Easy Tiger sessions -- but there is plenty for even the casual fans here to enjoy. Beyond that, there’s also a pretty cool DVD of Neil Young performing nearly 40 minutes of songs from Le Noise in his studio, which would make a good gift to the aging rocker in your household... and really to anyone who loves good music because Neil continues to rock! For some good holiday fare, grab Slow Club’s new EP of Christmas tunes, put out by Moshi Moshi, who also have a their own festive collection. You’ll find these and a few more new albums worth checking out on Largehearted Boy’s list and right here:
