  • Adam Yauch says reports that he is cancer free are “exaggerated”: Contrary to widely distributed reports from early Friday, Beastie Boys member Adam Yauch has not fully recovered from cancer. Yauch said in a statement. “I’m continuing treatment, staying optimistic and hoping to be cancer free in the near future.” (via Rolling Stone)

  • Tennis serve new video: Current buzz band and husband-and-wife duo Tennis have released a new video for “Pigeon,” a new single off their album Cape Dory, which comes out next week. Watch it here. (via Pitchfork)

  • Pavement, Ace of Cakes: Late last year, Pitchfork reported that reunited indie band Pavement would turn up on an upcoming episode of Ace of Cakes. It now appears that the episode featuring the band will air on January 20 at 7 p.m. PST on Food Network. (via Pitchfork)
