  • Arcade Fire to perform at the Grammys: Arcade Fire are up for three Grammy Awards this year, including Album of the Year award for The Suburbs. And now, the Recording Academy has announced that Arcade Fire will perform at the Grammy Awards ceremony, which CBS will broadcast on February 13 at 8pm Eastern. (Get Grammy details here)

  • The Head and The Heart now on Sub Pop: Maybe it wasn’t a tightly held secret, but it’s official now anyway. Sub Pop just announced Seattle’s hottest band right now, The Head and The Heart as its most recent signees. Their self-titled debut is available digitally right now and the physical record will be released on April 16th in celebration of Record Store Day!
  • Dan Deacon to score next Coppola Film: Dan Deacon is reportedly scoring legendary director Francis Ford Coppola’s next film, Twixt Now and Sunrise. Twixt Now and Sunrise will come out later this year and stars Val Kilmer and Bruce Dern. According to a press release, Deacon and Coppola are also “collaborating on a larger level, details of which will be announced soon.” (via Pitchfork)
