  • It’s looking to be another amazing year of music at the Gorge, as the Sasquatch! Music Festival has been extended to four days and the lineup is chock-full of KEXP favorites. For more info, click here and watch here:

  • The National Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences announced today that Bob Dylan will perform at the 53rd annual Grammy Awards this Sunday night. The rock icon will take part in a tribute to acoustic music along Mumford & Sons and The Avett Brothers. Also just announced is Six-time Grammy winner Dr. Dre, who will duet live with his former protégée Eminem. Find out more here.

  • Post-punk legends Gang of Four are back on the road promoting their new album, Content (see our recent interview with guitarist Andy Gill here). They stopped by to perform their new song “You’ll Never Pay For the Farm” live on Letterman the other night:

  • Toro Y Moi has released another stellar video for a song off his upcoming release Underneath The Pine. Here’s “New Beat”:

    • Angles, the impending new release from The Strokes (due out March 22), has been one of the most anticipated albums of 2011, and the band has released a song for download to give fans a taste of what’s to come. You can download “Under Cover of Darkness” free from the band’s website, or stream it via YouTube here.
    • Arguably two of the best things to come out of the 70s were Joy Division and Playmobil. Now they’ve finally been combined into one amazing YouTube video. Check it out:

    • In my favorite piece of news this week (and maybe ever), Jim James and M. Ward have started a new blog called The Cremebrulog. And no, it isn’t just a clever title. The blog focuses solely on the custard-y French desert.
