DIY director/producer Javier Douglas has created an unofficial video for LCD Soundsystem‘s This is Happening opener “Dance Yrself Clean,” in which Kermit teams up with Animal, Miss Piggy, “Sesame Street” favorite Cookie Monster to play the song for a surprised and delighted crowd in the British town of Brighton. Priceless moments include: the crowd cheering as the song explodes into high gear, Animal and Cookie Monster getting a little tipsy on the beach, and romantic interludes with Kermit and Miss Piggy.
Funnily enough, this is not the first time LCD Soundsystem and The Muppets have crossed paths. Sound of Silver closer “New York I Love You, But You’re Bringing Me Down” was infamously sung by Kermit as well:
