Radiohead Releases Newspaper: “The Universal Sigh”

Radiohead‘s surprise new album The King of Limbs is available now digitally, with physical copies not due till March 29 in North America (and the art-heavy newspaper edition not released until May 9). There’s still only vague hints about what the newspaper edition will include, but on March 28 and 29, we may get a clue: the band plans to release a completely separate newspaper, The Universal Sigh, at newsstands globally. Above is rumored to be an image of what the paper will look like, found on eBay by One Thirty BPM. Says Radiohead on the newspaper’s official site:

In conjunction with this unbelievable offer, Radiohead have established THE UNIVERSAL SIGH as a website on the internet, where details of your nearest vendor can be found, as well as more informations and a photogallery where we will be posting photos and the lucky owners of the gratis tabloid are invited to post pictures of themselves and their friends reading the newspaper in locations diverse and unusual. There will be other stuff too, but we haven’t thought of it yet.

Look for the paper to release Tuesday, March 29, in the U.S. and Canada, and a day earlier everywhere else. In the meantime, you can watch the video for the album’s lead single “Lotus Flower” below, and head on over to the Dancing Thom Tumblr Page to get your fill of Yorke flashing his moves to an assortment of other songs.
