Coachella 2011: Video

So, Coachella happened this weekend. Renowned as one of the biggest and best summer music festivals, this year’s took place this past weekend at Empire Polo Fields in Indio, California. But if you weren’t able to get down to the desert for the party, the fest had the courtesy to webcast some of the bigger acts. Below, you’ll find some of the highlights, including Arcade Fire‘s balloon-drop finale, Bon Iver and Kanye West performing “Lost in the World” with a legion of dancers, Animal Collective‘s thundering intro lightshow, the criminally underrated Freelance Whales, Broken Social Scene shredding it up on “Cause = Time,” Flogging Molly‘s rowdy mosh pit, and a sunlit set from Warpaint. Videos like this make the wait for Sasquatch! even more unbearable. Check it:

Arcade Fire: “Wake Up” (balloon drop)

Kanye West with Bon Iver: “Lost in the World”

Animal Collective: Set Intro (fan video)

Freelance Whales – “Starring”

Broken Social Scene: “Cause = Time”

Flogging Molly: “Seven Deadly Sins”

Warpaint: “Undertow”
