Bumbershoot band a day in May!

Seattle Center’s biggest and longest-running local music and arts festival Bumbershoot is entering its 41st year, and music fans all around the Pacific Northwest are getting a little antsy for the lineup. This year, the festival is announcing the artists in an interesting fashion: one artist per day, for the entire month of May.

Starting this Sunday, May 1st at noon, Bumbershoot will announce one artist every day, leading up to a full lineup announcement on June 1.

To stay in tune with Bumbershoot’s ongoing artist updates, you can fan them on Facebook, follow them on Twitter, and stalk their blog.

Last year’s lineup included Bob Dylan, The Decemberists, Neko Case, Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeroes, Ra Ra Riot, The English Beat, Japandroids, The Moondoggies, and Fresh Espresso, while past years have seen Modest Mouse, The Shins, Beck, Michael Franti & Spearhead, Franz Ferdinand, Metric, Raphael Saadiq, MSTRKRFT, Matt & Kim, Gogol Bordello, Holy Fuck, Flogging Molly, Lee “Scratch” Perry, John Vanderslice, and De La Soul. Who will be on this year’s lineup? Find out one day at a time in May!
