Canadian indie rock darlings The Dears are over a decade old and going strong, enchanting listeners with their dark orchestral pop tunes. Their latest, 2011′s Degeneration Street, is another collection of their lush, emphatic songs, and despite a fluid lineup over the years, band leader Murray Lightburn has still got his act together. As a live performance, the Dears have been critically acclaimed, and have opened for such acts as Sloan, The Tragically Hip, and Secret Machines, wowing crowds internationally. The band took the time to bring their energy and exuberance (and keytars!) to the KEXP studios for an awe-inspiring set, available to you below.
