Beirut Plays New Songs In Virginia

Beirut‘s Zach Condon has been stirring up headlines of late, surprising fans with a new tour and the imminent release of an as-yet untitled new album, due out “sometime in summer.” Fan video footage has already surfaced from the band’s first stop on the tour, a set in Norfolk, Virginia where Condon & Co. debuted two new songs. The first is “Santa Fe”, the second is rumored to be titled “Port of Call.” Watch both performances below.

Aside from touring and working on new material, Condon has also been busy contributing new and previously recorded music to the documentary film Bombay Beach from director Alma Har’el. Watch the trailer below:
